Brielle and Michael met in May of 2022 at Michael's job. On a Saturday afternoon, Brielle rode with her cousin Brittney to Tyson's Corner to car shop. The day felt uneventful to Brielle, but little did she know, she would meet her future husband.

After a long day at a dealership, Brielle decided to wait for Brittney outside in her car. When it became dark outside, Brielle got a text from Brittney to come inside with her. Brielle came inside the dealership to an office and was greeted by the finance guy, Michael. While Michael helped Brittney complete her paperwork, he began asking Brielle several questions. Brielle thought his questions were odd, but didn't pay it any mind. After asking Brielle several questions, Michael handed Brittney her keys. Michael said, "Brittney here are your new keys and Ms. Brielle, here is my card. Give me a call."

Brielle later learned that Brittney told Michael that she had a "very single" cousin waiting outside in the car. Michael was curious and suggested that Brittney text Brielle to come inside.

After the dealership visit, Brielle and Michael spent the next week getting to know each other over the phone. The following Saturday in May, Brielle and Michael had their first date at the MGM National Harbor. Their first date was a success and they began traveling between Maryland and Richmond every week to see to see each other. By the end of the summer, Michael relocated to Richmond to start a new chapter with Brielle and her daughter, Asa.

Fast forward two years, Brielle and Michael got engaged in May of 2024 and are preparing for their big day in May of 2025. For Brielle and Michael, their special day will be a full circle moment, as they begin their union where it all started, in the month of May, at the MGM National Harbor.

Brielle and Michael believe their meeting was destiny and owe it to God, Brittney (for playing match maker) and a guardian angel, Michael's late mother, Lynnette.
